“Predictions? I don’t make them, they bring bad luck,” De Laurentiis said. Napoli and Juventus have been the most consistent teams at the top in recent years. But let’s be honest, the club from the north hasn’t always played clearly. I can assure you Napoli always has. That’s our way of life.”
De Laurentiis then shifted the conversation to a personal note, reflecting on advice from his uncle Dino to move to America: “I was 19 and still wanted to enjoy life in Italy. He told me this is a country where nothing is given for free, and he was right. I experienced it firsthand. We found success in film, and I believe I’ve done well in football, even if it wasn’t my first love. As a kid, I actually played basketball.”
