According to Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri have practically secured Bonny, the 2003-born forward from Parma, for a fee close to €25 million. The French striker is expected to bolster Inter’s frontline ahead of the new season, pending final details and an official announcement.
Meanwhile, the other high-profile target is Rasmus Hojlund. The Danish international, formerly of Atalanta and currently at Manchester United, has reportedly agreed to a move back to Italy. However, Inter still need to reach an agreement with the Premier League club, which is demanding €45 million for a permanent transfer.
Inter’s current offer involves a loan with a conditional obligation to buy, a structure that United have not yet accepted. Negotiations are ongoing, but optimism remains as Hojlund is said to be eager to return to Serie A and link up with Cristian Chivu’s squad.
At the same time, Inter are exploring solutions for two existing players: Mehdi Taremi and Francesco Pio Esposito. The club is considering sending Esposito out on another loan spell to continue his development, while Taremi’s situation remains unresolved and currently on hold.
With the Club World Cup approaching and Serie A preparations underway, Inter’s management is pushing to finalize their roster. Bonny looks like the first piece of the puzzle, with Hojlund potentially following if the deal with Manchester United can be unlocked in time.
