Home » Juventus Push to Keep Kolo Muani as Vlahovic Refuses Exit

Juventus are intensifying their efforts to secure Randal Kolo Muani for another season as uncertainty persists around Dusan Vlahovic’s future. The French striker, who joined on loan from PSG last January, impressed during the Club World Cup with two goals and an assist, quickly winning over the squad and coach Igor Tudor.
PSG’s stance has so far been clear: no more free loans. The Parisian club, which invested €75 million to sign Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022, is only willing to consider options that guarantee a permanent deal. Juventus are trying to find a compromise. The latest proposal reportedly centers on a paid loan worth about €10 million, paired with an obligation to buy next summer if certain achievable conditions are met.
Juventus director Damien Comolli is working to leverage two factors in negotiations: the player’s strong desire to stay in Turin and the fact that PSG coach Luis Enrique does not see Kolo Muani as part of his plans. Kolo Muani himself has repeatedly stated, “I’m happy here,” making it clear he wants to remain in Serie A.
While Juventus pursue Kolo Muani, they continue to face a stalemate with Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbian striker, whose contract expires in 2026, has turned down offers from Saudi Arabia and Fenerbahçe. He is reportedly determined to stay another year and potentially leave on a free transfer, complicating the club’s plans. An imminent meeting is expected between Comolli and Vlahovic’s agent Darko Ristic to try to unlock the situation.
Vlahovic’s stance effectively blocks Juventus from moving decisively for other forwards like Victor Osimhen, who is nearing a return to Galatasaray. Until the Serbian’s future is resolved, Juventus must tread carefully in building the attack around new signing Jonathan David.

Coach Tudor has made no secret of his appreciation for Kolo Muani’s versatility. Initially benched in favor of Vlahovic, the Frenchman eventually became a regular starter. His ability to play as a second striker in a 3-5-2 or as a trequartista behind David and Yildiz in a 3-4-2-1 makes him a valuable piece of the puzzle. Juventus also view his familiarity with the locker room and positive influence as crucial assets.
The club hopes to finalize Kolo Muani’s situation before the pre-season ramps up. The plan remains to secure an agreement with PSG quickly, especially as the player’s desire to stay could be decisive. Meanwhile, Juventus continue to monitor other options but remain focused on maintaining an attack that can compete on all fronts.
The coming weeks will be crucial for Juventus. With Vlahovic holding firm and Kolo Muani eager to stay, Comolli has a delicate balancing act ahead. One thing is clear: the Bianconeri are determined not to be left short-handed in attack as they enter a pivotal season under Tudor.
