AC Milan have announced their first midfield reinforcement of the summer with the signing of Samuele Ricci from Torino. The 22-year-old Italian midfielder joins the Rossoneri on a permanent transfer after completing medical tests and signing his new contract earlier today.
The operation will cost Milan a total of €24.5 million between fixed fees and performance-related bonuses. Additionally, Torino will retain a 10% sell-on clause for any future resale of Ricci.
Contract Details
Ricci has signed a four-year contract running until June 30, 2029, with an option for a fifth year that could extend his stay through June 2030. He will wear the number 4 shirt for Milan.
Player Profile
Born in Pontedera on August 21, 2001, Ricci developed in Empoli’s youth academy, where he made his professional debut in September 2019. During his time with the Tuscan club, he made 91 appearances and scored 3 goals before moving to Torino in January 2022. At Torino, he added 113 appearances and 4 goals to his resume, becoming a consistent presence in Serie A.
On the international stage, Ricci has progressed through Italy’s youth teams and earned his senior debut in June 2022. Since then, he has collected 10 caps for the Azzurri.

“AC Milan announces that it has acquired outright the sporting performances of the footballer Samuele Ricci from Torino FC. The Italian midfielder has signed a contract with the Rossoneri Club until June 30, 2029, with an option in favor of the Club to extend the agreement until June 30, 2030.”
